That and body and face markings aren't a strictly female thing. (Quite the contrary.)

I think my celtic ancestors would messily kill anyone who called them a transvestite.

what would they do with the body?..........just curious

Leave it out for the buzzards, probably. Though if he had been a worthy opponent (unlikely nowadays) they'd chop of his head and carry it around as a trophy.

They also believed that possessing the head of your enemy gave you his strength. I think that's where the people who made Highlander got the idea.

They might make the skull into a ceremonial drinking cup, too, come to think of it.

I just got through watching lord of the rings and I realized something...would the movie or InuYasha be different if Frodo had the Shikon no Tama and Naraku had the One Ring?

:o Wow, I'd never though of that. I guess there would be some differences. (Naraku having the power of invisibility if nothing else.)

I think that would make a neat premise for a fanfic.

Sango: Hey Miroku! What's that in your hand?
Miroku:Some sort of ring.
Myouga:Yes, that ring has the power to make one invisible.
Kagome:Hey, where did Miroku go?
Sango:Waaah!!! *swinging arm aimlessly in the air* BAKA HOUSHI!!!!

Say, I don't know if anyone will know this, but my Dad just brought up a very interesting question...

In the episode with the Noh mask, Kagome appologizes for throwing out Inuyasha's back with all those 'sits'. While doing so, she waves her up and down like a pot lid. Dad was wondering if that has any particular meaning in Japan and if so, what? I thought it looked kinda dismissive, but I'm a westerner so maybe I've got it completely backward.

Anyone here know?

Married? you must be referring to Kagome's imagination going overboard again, or when Miroku actually sorta proposed.

uuuuuum, if I am not mistaken, and I might be that could be a gesture for forgiveness. Misato does it in the first episode of EVA when she is late and Ritsuko is made at her. I think Kogome was doing that only in an exagerated fashion
