This isn't a very serious philosophical question, but I'm curious about it anyway--In the Japanese version of FMA, there's a pun in episode 7 just before Glacier gives birth, based on the fact that the words for "to give birth" (umu) and horse (uma) have the same beginning sound. Since Glacier is gasping in pain and unable to say the full word for birth, Hughes acts surprised and says "Horse?" If anyone remembers, I'd like to know how this was handled in the dub, since the same pun wouldn't work in English.
