Kenshin on the Train? [RK episode 22]

Post by gangstaj8 » Mon Mar 21, 2005 4:25 am

I have one question concerning episode 22 of Rurouni Kenshin: Danger on a Runaway Locomotive.

Did the animation style look... different?

It felt oddly similar to FLCL, except it was in Kyoto, and people had swords. Does anyone have a clue as to why the animation style was different in that episode? I've not finished the series yet, so maybe there's more of this, but it just felt weird.

It was an extremely low-point, filler episode with the worst animation team working on it.

Kenshin's hands are three times are large as they should be. It's great.

(But it sure does make for great material for a new fan-parody that would be really nice to see finished... ;_; )

Ah, that does make some since now. I did find on tvtome.com some similar ranting about how the horse jumps 15 to 30 feet. Thanks for sating my curiosity.

"Oh man, my hands are HUGE..."

Similar to how his cross scar vanishes every once in a while?
Probably too busy to be here right now.

GREAT! I used that horse part for one of the scenes in my music video. OMG how did I not notice those things!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this! I seriously thought I was going insane, because in the next episode the animation goes back to normal. I had borrowed the episode from my roomate and apparently she didn't notice it...yeah. It was bad! There was this one shot of Kaoru and Sano that looked almost like a Salvador Dahli painting. :?
