Has anyone been reading the manga? I'm curious to know if it's different/better than the series.

I may have to go through the TV series again to understand the ending a little better - I watched the last 13 episodes in one night ^^;

I'd say that their deaths had some purpose--if you remember, later in the episode, sister Kate (while talking to God) says "Is this the kind of happiness you are giving to them?" (It's paraphrased; I don't remember the line exactly.) They got to die peacefully, without seeing the Great Depression or World War II, and even if they didn't accomplish that much, they -believed- that they did. That made it, for me, kind of a happy/sad mixture.

You want to know why it's like that? The show is heavily based on actual documents released by the Vatican that told the 'true' story behind the Pope's assasination. Names and that have changed but supposedly Rosette and Chrno's story is somewhat true.

The Pope was never assassinated. It was ATTEMPTED. :roll:

I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

I meant to say assination plot. Just a typo.

No need to be rude.

Gomen.

I just figured something out about Chrno and Rosette dying...
Death by clock. Let's see CSI solve that! :lol:
