Come to think of it, wasn't a voice actor from New York work on FMA a bit as well?

Hey, I was reading the newest chapter of FMA and one of the chapter pages said "you asked for it, and a new anime is being made!!!" does anyone know if that's a Japan-only thing, or is that *THE* anime? (Though I don't know why Japan would declare a *new* anime that's been out for several years)
whats kainda funny is that Ed's 5'6", and he's taller than me. ............and he's called short..............*sigh*

Imagine Fuhrer King Bradley being voiced by Shean Connery.

What?! He isn't?!

Seriuously though, i think sean connery would have sounded better if HE had Pride's voice.

It would be great to bring back the VAs that are emotionally tied to the series (like Vic) and replace the , uh, mocked side characters.......or let their VAs get a redo....not to mention it would bring a breath of fresh air to FMA AMVs

1. More Characters that have an impact on the story, Such as the Xingese people.

2. They expand out to more locations like the cold Northern mountains and deeper parts of Central.

3. The Main bad guy is more of a father to the Homunculus, and also has strong
ties to Hoho Papa.

4. Mustang's subordinates are much more interesting that they're shown in the anime, and have first names.

5. Wrath, Pride and Sloth are different.

6. Al and Izumi aren't so much of useless people as they're treated in the anime.

7. Currently they're showing Armstrong's oldest sister who isnt in the anime anywhere.

I love this anime and am starting to get into the manga via the library. Anyway. I bought both seasons and the movie and love it all. Vic Mignogna makes my day. All the VAs need appreciation. I am excited about the new series but will shy from illegal ways of seeing it, I do hope cruncyroll gets it. I hope Funimation gets the license, I want to have Vic come back and reprise his role as Ed. I hope they get the original cast back for the English dub. I don't know what they'd do about Aron, since his voice changed a bunch.

Hello everyone, just joined today and hope to have lots of fun :)
I fully agree, the VA's did a fantastic job with the series and movie and I'm hoping all if not most of the VA's return to do the remake. Speaking of VA's, did anyone notice that Dr. Marco's voice sounds a lot like Johnny Cash?

there's a trailer for the newly animated FMA on utube. i'd post the link but obviously that won't work.

try copying and pasting these tags:
鋼の錬金術師 haganeno_renkinjyutushi FULLMETAL_ALCHEMIST 放送予告CM ver2 釘宮理恵 &fmt=22

it is supposed to follow the manga more directly, which i'm very pleased to hear. while the original anime writers did a good job continuing the story and adding their own twists and developments, the original storyline is much more in depth and inventive in my opinion. also it's interesting to see what the original author is intending.

i have no doubt FUNimation is going to jump on this project as soon as it's available to them. the only question i have, is will they keep Aaron Dismuke as Alphonse. he dubbed the original before his voice changed. he's either 15 or 16 now. he still sounds like Al, just an octave lower. personally, i couldn't choose anyone else for alphonse, voice change or not.

KEEP AARON FUNI!!!
