I really did love FMA. And yeah i agree with what Roy did giving his character more depth.

Does anyone else feel that the FMA film (as good as it was) was a bit of a let down after the excellent anime series?

Yes and no. The only thing that REALLY pissed me off was when Ed jumped out of the plane, through a plate glass window, then plummeted another like, 50 feet to a stone floor...
And got up. *shakes head* For the most part the series was pretty good about avoiding completely unbelievable things like that.

O yeah by the way.

Did anyone watch that bleach episode (13something) where Captain Hitsuga is called short and reacts like Edward. How much of a copy was that!

Better question: Who else caught the FMA reference in Ouran High School Host Club, in that episode where Hikaru and Haruhi went on their date?
(For those who didn't, Hikaru picks up a little ball with Ed's face and his "antennae" on it in the shopping plaza.)

I've heard that those are quite good, I just haven't gotten around to reading them yet. How many are there?

I've heard of the novelizations but haven't read them. Any idea where I might find them?

Sweet. I wonder if I can track them down through the library.

I'd buy them, but getting a new laptop just about wiped out all my resources.

At least I have a computer that works now, though.

the first book is great. the second book is AMAZING and the third book is good, too. I especially enjoy the little notes from the author at the end. :D

oh yeah, does anyone here play the fullmetal video games? I have a few, but I was hoping for some information on the imports, so........if anyone can help, I would love that

I've played the first one for PS2, it was fun, but... the loading screens were really bad. Looooong waits for very small "zones," if you know what I mean. Other than that it was thoroughly enjoyable, though.
At Vic and Aaron's panel at Otakon Vic announced that the third game won't be released in the US - I guess its release was dependent on the success of the first two, and they didn't sell well enough. :( I'd like to import them and check them out, but that would require modding my PS2, and I haven't had much luck with that in the past. >.>
