Naruto 116-117 (Only about SPOLIERS)

Postby keyboardsamurai » Fri Jan 07, 2005 12:47 pm

Spoiler below

Just 1 obvious question..

I just finished watching eps 116-117 and still am not sure if they killed Neiji off or not. If they did kill him off, then that was a lousy ending for him compared to the big ol dramating ending they gave Chouji.
So does ne1 know if he got killed or just fainted?

Well, you could read the manga (available through fan releases), or you could wait a couple of eps and find out. But if you're really that desperate to find out:

No!!! Neji will not die! Never! Remember what did he say before his final fight with Kidoumaro? "There's a reason why I can't lose." or something like that.

that sentence doesn't necessarily mean that he needs to live to win.. he only needs to beat the dude....

either way.. I've read enough of what happens.. :Shruggs:

Hmmm... hehe. You really want to find out from us?

Read the manga and you'll find out. However, the manga really spoils it for you. It spoiled me for these episodes... Which is why, I'm not going to read any more manga.

I thought the death scenes were pretty good and both characters went out well. For me, it put a little more value in the series as a whole, as well as add a hellova lot more tension to the next few fight scenes that will happen because yes, they really might die (Except Naruto of course).

If they take that back, the whole series will seriously be cheapened beyond that point. I really, Really hate dramatic death scenes that are not really death scenes cause... of a lot of things (Decided to forgo ranting about them for the sake of the reader).

Suffice to say I thought their deaths were memerable and it would be a shame to ruin that like they did with the 7 episodes they didicated to killing off someone else in the series. Although he didn't come back, that still wasn't a well presented death. These were (Although I did find the first better as well).

Vancore, you are going to hate what happens, then.

Trust me on this - I've read the manga.

NNNNOoooooooooooo......... :x

Ah well, I kinda figured it may turn out that way :? I guess I can still hope at least one of them gets a respectful death and that there won't be two more situations with the same result.

And if they do, they should bring back Zabuza too. There's no way he could have died.

There are precious few actual deaths in Naruto. I think Zabuza is one of the few.

Exactly. And the 3rd Hokage. :(

How do you know that Hinata would come and help with vengeance if she learns of Neji's death?

A tip: Don't read the manga unless you don't care too much about the anime... It'll really spoil it for you.

Not really with me I read the manga (up to date with it) and then I watch the episodes that I've already read in the manga and I still love it, sure it reveals the plot line but I'm still anxious about watching the actual episodes ^^

Don't read it unless you don't care for it to much? I love naruto!! and I can't wait for the new manga to come out. Sorry but waiting a week for whats going to happen in the animation and not knowing what else might happen just builts to much tension. Oh man, dude your in for more than a few surprises in naruto

Also, saying to not read the manga is like saying
'don't read the lord of the rings books, they'll spoil the movies for you!'

the manga of naruto came first and IS the story, so i don't consider reading manga as a spoiler for anime... it's just reading the original and then watching it again in a different form

if you think about it, watching the anime before the manga spoils the manga for you doesn't it?.... :?: ..
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D
