Yea, i would like to know it as well. All i have seen of the manga around here is..darn it..i forgot
The manga is still running in Japan and is currently up to Vol. 34. The manga will end this December in Japan.

I feel so.. violated.
Actually watching Shippo transform into Hamtaro wasn't something that I every 'really' needed to see.
If they do it right, then they'll end the series and focus on Kikyo and Inuyasha in the past, sort of as a prequel ending with Inuyasha stuck to the tree.
Otherwise what the hell else can they do, have Naraku throw the moon from it's orbit and raise Atlantis with the help of a bunch of Titans? Will Naraku resurect the entire Trojan army, give them laser beam eyes and attack the future with them?
Kohaku has his memory back and Sango now knows it. Kagura has her heart back, but is dying from miasma in much the same way Kikyo was. And, if you know who Hakudoushi is, he finally bit the dust and is now living in Miroku's wind tunnel.
