Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san

Mukoujima Takurou is a lonely teenager who spends his time fishing at the pier and, to his incredible surprise, fishes up Muromi, a mermaid. Muromi first off doesn't realize she's a mermaid until she meets Takurou. Not only that, she is incredibly dense and crazy and has a drinking problem to top it off. Now every time Takurou goes fishing, Muromi appears and makes life interesting for him.

Saber Marionette meets Tsuritama meets I don't know what else.
Anyway, it's surprisingly funny and actually quite well animated!
Better than I expected, I was surprised.

I've been chcking out all the different ep 1's of each series and actually skipped this one since it was only 12 minutes and I figured it was a throwaway series, but I think i'll give it a shot and see if it's worth a few laughs.

Lol, speaking of Saber Marionette, I saw the anime once for that and was bored out of my mind, definitely made for kids. Then I happened to read the manga and was like WTF, there's boobs (full nude) and stuff all over the place and the story was definitely different. If I had been a fan of the manga and had seen the anime I would have raged so badly lol.

Got around to watching ep 1, pretty good actually. If the eps keep the same tone as this one it should be pretty fun
