On the island of Tanegashima, Central Tanegashima High School's Robot Research Club is on the verge of disbandment. Yashio Kaito shows absolutely no interest in the club despite the situation and being one of the club's only 2 members. He is fully absorbed in developing a robot fighting game. His attitude causes friction with Akiho, the other member.
Senomiya Akiho is the reckless Club President. She is determined to save the club by completing construction of a giant robot.
One day, whilst Kaito was in a park, working on his computer game as usual, he hears a girl's voice and discovers the A.R. annotation of the Kimijima Report. It is an allegation of a plot by one Kimijima Kou's with world-wide implications.

Following for now. I was a big fan of Steins;Gate, and while I know this show isn't going to be like it, I enjoyed the first episode.

Agreed! I'm interested to see how they threw in all the time travel stuff into this.

Re: Robotics;Notes
It seems like it has a more unique plot compared to what I've seen and read about lately. Basically a Slice of Life meets Mecha?

In love with this show so goddang much.
The main girl seems really lively and cool, and there's 2D-animated giant robots. Sold.

gawd this anime reminds me so much of the robotic competitions that my high school competed in. I really wish I could relive those days.
And I'm really curious about those flashbacks that the main characters keeps having. They seem pretty serious.
