wow, this is the first series in a while that has had me hyped for every episode. They almost all end in cliffhangers

rider is still awesome lol, and Melloi is actually pretty damn strong himself, his familiar or whatever that quicksilver thing is seems nearly on par with servants as far as offensive/defensive capabilities.

still waiting for the assassin swarm to finally make it's move.

yeah, me too.
Nazenara? Baasaakaa wa chou kakoii!

I really prefer this serie from Stay Night. The servents are much more capable and they are more emotional. Also all masters are pretty interesting. When I leave out the two main ones (Kiritsugu, Kirei) then there's Archibald (lancer's master)... I don't like him but I like how they made him. Then there's Caster's master and of course Kariya... he's probably my favorite when it comes to his role... can't say much about his personality but "coming back home discovering that a child he loves is being experimented on so he takes her place and violates his body as well as takes the path of madness" I really hope that his body lasts and he makes it to final clashes... I hope berserker steps some more on Gilgamesh's pride and kiss some of his ass.
If I was to guess I think that Caster and Lancer are going to kick the bucket first
Spoiler :
Also, I believe that Kiritsugu is more capable then he was in ep7.. I know that his opponent - Archibald is pretty strong... well he's basically immune to guns and stuff. But still he seems to have something big up in his sleeve.
Loving Rider all the way!

Lets just say Kiristugu has a few tricks up his sleeve. spoiler below for those not interested in waiting till next weekend for that battles outcome.
Spoiler :
Kiristugu is actually an average level magus with a high level of tactics, a specialist. His gun the wooden one the Thompson Contender has bullets made from his body that can destroy a magus based on how many circuits they have on at once. He only has twelve bullets for this war.

Episode 8.
And here I thought Castor couldn't terrify me any more than he had.
(He's an absolutely nightmare-inducing character, but is anyone with me when I say that his VA should win a friggin' award for his performance. Seriously!)

Anyways, good episode. El-Melloi hacked up a ton of blood there, jesuschrist. o___o I kind of hope he dies soon though, I just really don't like him (and his magic blob. Which actually makes me laugh uncontrollably when its in blob form just following him. xD)

is it just me or are the fights between masters more fascinating than the fights between servants? Shesh, the masters almost seem like they could fight on par with servants themselves (compared to the masters in fate/stay night there's a HUGE difference in capability).
Spoiler :
Kirei is ridiculous, reminded me of anderson from hellsing, just ignores bullets while flinging blades and around breaking trees in half. What the heck happened to him in fate/stay night, he should have been able to rip Shiro apart in their last fight.

Yeah exactly. I actually thought about this this morning and came to conclusion that it's probably because masters from /stay night were teenagers. I also like how Zero is focused on more then one or two masters but that they let all masters have their screen time.
I really like how Kiritsugu played his fight with El-Molloi, talk about gamble.

true that

I'm not 100% sure if I got it right but Caster survived, right?... I'm really glad he did and I really wonder if his master is going to have some kind of role in fights between Masters/Servents

I somewhere read/heard that this was gonna have 13 eps only but that has got to be some kind of shitty gossip, right? I mean ep8 and no one dies yet.. I really hope it has 26 eps and hopefully another ova that would be similiar to Unlimited Blade Works... but that's probably not likely
Man do I love this stuff :awesome:

Loving Rider in this series way more than Fate stay nights ;p Gotta love that don't care prideful yet simple have fun with everything you do attitude he always has, I think hes got the most personality of all the servants so far. Saber and Lancers fight was pretty awesome also, and the way Rider interupted and just blurted out his real name like he couldn't care less was hilarious ;p I've only gotten to eps 4 though, can't wait to see how they did beserker for this show :O

hmm, the first episode without a major action scene or cliffhanger, was still good but need to see some more action by...anyone, all of the fights have been cool so far.

btw, being a master in this war must be really frustrating, all the heroic spirits have really independent personalities and will take action based on their own goals/values (aside from assassin I guess). Sabre and Lancer want "honorable" fights which goes against their master's practical approach, caster and rider pretty much just do their own thing and drag their masters behind them, archer is a high and might dick as usual and berserker is...well berserk. assassin is the only one who does exactly as ordered heh
