IS: Infinite Stratos

The story revolves around the IS Academy and its students who are training to become pilots for the IS (Infinite Stratos) weapon system. It so happens that this system can only be operated by females. However there was one young man named Orimura Ichika (15) who was able to use the IS. He then finds himself attending the busy academy dominated by girls. As it turns out Shinonono Houki, a childhood friend, is amongst his new classmates.

this series looks like it may have potential. I did enjoy the first ep a bit, one thing i noticed that breaks the mold a tiny bit is being the only guy in the school he's actually like by the girls, whereas in most other series the only guy is usually hated from ep one. I havnt read the light novels for this so i don't know the back story but it's one of the few series i think i'll be following this season.

Not too sure why he got paired-up with his old girl friend,
although its the safest circumstances that she may ever
want/need! Nice cross between Sakura War's and Angelic
Layer. This one might even give Negima a run for its money!

hehe, did you catch how all the girls responded to their new
homeroom teacher with an S&M attitude .. these girls are not
afraid of him, they all want to be taught by her!?!!

.. This show should be a nice break from the fall season drama;
I for one am looking forward this one being silly and playful ^__^

yea for ep 2, the fighting scenes are very nice. good ep overall, the ending was really cliche though, wish they made the characters a little less predictable

now THAT's what Anime Lovers like; Note the ending theme screen,
its now three of them running together. Not Gundam & not Vandread; its better than that!!!

This show has WIN written all over it! -- about bloody time someone got it right!

ugh, the harem aspect appears. the one thing I hate about this (and most harem anime) is that the male character is a complete dumbass when it comes to the swarms of girls in love with him. although this guy is kind of a dumbass in general, he gets lost at school and figures the best place to go is through a set of doors with a huge "UNAUTHORIZED TRESPASSING PROHIBITED" sign on them. I would really like a series with a main character with an IQ of over 20.

.. ya know, I think I'm understanding what's drawing me to this series:
1) a school environment ( like Stellvia )
2) more girls than guys ( like Vandread & Canidate for Goddess )
3) both the girls and guys actually look like someone you'd want to be-with/hang-around-with .. if you could.
4) a clean, open & refreshing room and atmosphere ( like Gundam Seed, Love Hina and others )
with room to spare; like "Maids of Hanaukyo"

.. the reason .. honestly .. T_T it looks soo much better than this super-tiny-room I'm currently stuck sleeping-in T_T -- WHAAH!

Ep 4 .. I'm lov'n the "time-loss" aspect of this show:
.. we leave Ep 3 with the new girl entering the picture and
pick-up in Ep 4 with their first of many duals. This Director
is finally doing what older Anime's were famous for; continuing-on
with the plot regardless of the time involved between Episodes

Ep 5 .. strange; felt like I was watching a new "Stellvia of the Universe" episode.

same music, same lunch problems, same two girls getting blown out-of-the-sky .. .. .. hehe
