This is a world in which many legends have been left.

In the southern parts of the continent is the Roland Empire. A country in which its people are oppressed by the decadent nobility. By command of King Sion, Ryner and Ferris are sent on a journey.

Ryner is an extremely lethargic person. All he desires is a life of peaceful indolence. However, destiny has other plans and they are soon caught up in a war. What is the future that lies before the light shining from Ryner's "eyes"?

It's repetitive and redundant. But when you think about it, "The Legend of the Heroes" doesn't really work, and "The Legendary Heroes" is kinda boring so.. :nose:

To be honest, I don't know why the name is The Legend of the LEGENDARY HEROES, but once I start watching the first episode hopefully today or sometime tomorrow; I'll see if it's better than its name implies to some people.

Gotta give it a chance ya know! :)

Yeah, but when you think there's "The Legend of the Galactic Heroes" around and this can't even compare to it... :bzz:
Although, they probably are different genres altogether. :asd:

Hmmmm....

After watching the first episode, I gotta say there are some interesting things. Ryner, the dude with the Alpha Stigma (which I'm hoping to hear more about), is looking for these hero relics. His bodyguard is a blond girl wearing armor armed to the teeth. She kicks ass!! (Pardon my language). I love how serious she is and of course daring if you know what I mean! Ahem. Anyway. There is a lot of magic use which is cool to me when there is plenty of it in a episode like this.

Of course in this episode, they do introduce the background story behind legendary heroes and their relics. Saying something about hero relics being more of "value". I do wonder what they mean by that, but I may have a slight clue. Cause near the end of the episode, something very big happens with this necklace--that just makes me more curious. Plus, I didn't know there were giant creatures or so called mechanical things coming out of a temple. Looks interesting already!

From listening through the whole thing, plus reading the subtitles, the land is full of corruption. Sion Astal is there to uncorrupt it (need I say more). He gave supposedly gave Ryner this covert operation or something to hunt for relics while this "taboo breaker" named Milk (lol) follows him around in case he violates any rules he's not supposed to. Of course, I gotta love the things the blond haired girl says. Shoot I just forgot her name already.

Well, to sum it up. It does stand up to be good for me. I'll continue watching it in hopes of enjoying more of the background story. Besides, I like anime with a good backstory.
