Well I'll commend them for following the manga so closely for the most part (Did like the few extras as well), but I'm kind of worried about how this is gonna end now. Kinda looks like it's gonna do the "Ok guiz lets gtfo of here -end" kinda thing. I don't really mind that but If they do that I'd like a season 2 in the future after more chapters release. The mall part is epic and I was really hoping to see that animated for material. Well they doing 15 chapters for season 1 it seems, maybe we see a season 2 after 30 chapters released or something who knows.

Is it just me or did the anime make the tension between saeko and rei alot more intense then I remember being in the manga. Kinda gives off that vibe that near the end their's gonna be a death fight between those two or something. Well maybe not a death fight but I'm thinking there will be a brutal fight and a situation will arise ending it. Either way, thought just crossed my mind after seeing that tension. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it did.

A new chapter for the manga was released recently, not even sure I can say what group did it but I'm sure you ppl will find it if your interested anyway  .

I dont think it was tension. In episode 12 it was more of frustration that Rei is the same age as Saeko but Rei treats Saeko like an elder because she is a a grade higher but then when Saeko was trying to tell her don't call me miss anymore we are the....and rei said don't remind her. I think its more frustration to Shido more then Rei and Saeko. And how she was acting when Saeko was like take me with you and Rei was like really? Takagi acts the same way to Saeko. Its Saeko maturity that bothers them they even talked about it in episode 6.

For all those who want to know.Taken from wikipedia...
Highschool of the Dead began serialization in Monthly Dragon Age in July 2006, but went on hiatus from the end of 2008 until March 2010, with another short break between May and July 2010.

To tell u the truth man, when I first heard about the manga becoming anime,I downloaded and read the whole manga that was out (up to ch26).Then I saw it was on indefinite hiatus and I was like  Now.with ch27 out (thanks for informing us) it seems like they're moving on again so there is a chance for 2nd season...

well i got a 4 day weekend coming up at the end of the month, just in time for the last ep to come out, good time to get to work on my amv, definitely a good series, just wish it were longer (the manga too).

I know the author has done a lot of H work, has he written any other actual series as well?

Saeko wins. End of discussion. I'll never forget her screaming out "i'm wet" while chopping zombies to bits. that was just great.
I think Shido got better than he deserved. I mean, he's just gonna fuck high school girls till he dies. Where's the downside there? They can get food and the like from abandoned stores, gas from abandoned pumps. They shoulda just shot the fucker.
I'm curious to see how the next episode pans out. I haven't seen the manga so it's gonna be all new to me. I'd be cool if everything just went up in a mushroom cloud. It's been a good ride, couldn't care less if it ends in a car crash.

You will see shido one more time, its not over yet assuming last episode goes as the manga did. No spoilers from me though. |:>

Camon he's not so bad... Just letting people enjoy the last moments of their lives to the fullest  :asd:

Bah personality aside he's just the black sheep character of the manga. He's annoying but makes it more interesting.

These kinds of characters are actually quite frequent in movies. Most of the titles of his chapters are movie/book/etc spoofs.

One I can think of off the top of my head is "The Mist". There was a lady in that one that was so hellbent in believing it was gods wrath that she convinced other survivors in the building that they must atone etc for salvation and she became the "priestess"... Needless to say she was killed... AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. Lol I think I actually remember ppl clapping in the theater after she died actually ya cause I was one of them.

Yeah he makes the story more interesting but then at the same time he is not in the show that often just makes quick appearences and then he is gone for a few episodes or so. lol. And the way he allowing them to live their lives to the fullest is sick.

Recently watched The Mist with a buddy, yes, I fucking hated that bitch.

Also watching Stargate lately and Kinsey, man every time I see him I get an urge to shoot politicians.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

Well yes this show is another example of how movies need the annoying no one wants them around anymore characters in order to make the show interesting.
