Not going to lie this show is pretty fun! The director knows about the fan service of the show and flaunts it but its okay the cheesy nature of zombie movies at least the older ones has been just that so it fits like the sticky white glove of the prostate exam doctor.

I like how it's only got one episode out but there's 4 pages of discussion.

Regardless of the end result, this already is the most hyped series of the season. And we know that those wind up not matching the expectations, generally...

Anime Network's website got clogged up the moment their 11pm simulcast started. They simply can't handle the dramatic increase in site traffic.

Ok, episode two changed the way i actually see this anime. It's not as serious as I thought it would be. Still loving it and the fan service isn't bugging me anymore. I think it's great how some of the kids really look like they're enjoying killing the zombies while others just scream. I got a feeling we're gonna see a lot of character development. I'd say it's living up to the hype so far.

Ishbalan wrote:When you watch a horror movie, do you get offended when suddenly people get naked and start shagging on screen? No, because its expected. Because its typical of the horror genre. It is part of the package whether you like it or not, and if you don't, maybe you should go back to your sappy chick flicks. The amount of fanservice in HotD is perfectly appropriate for the genre, and those who have a problem with it should leave.
I was wondering what was missing from today's horror movies.

Anyways, loving the characters so far so I'll definitely be following this

Meh the bouncing boobs SFX was the only thing that has bothered me so far, If that's as silly as they get with fanservice then I think I'll be able to deal with it just fine.

Anyway still <3 'n this. Can't wait for the more intense action parts from the manga.

I'm so going to blow money on the Blurays for this when/if they come out. The animation is godtier and it's a genre I can't pass up.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Ep2 and the things are getting better.Less disturbing fanservice and more characters on the move...
Takagi's snap was definitely the hit of this episode.Seems like we're gonna get some character development over here
Haven't read the manga so far but I can't wait for the next week's episode so I'm getting it now.

~Off to read every volume that's available.... :D ~
