I have just finished watching the English dub! Final Verdict: Original Japanese wins.

For me anyway. For everyone else:
I'd say the voices do not differ enough for it to be more than a matter of taste which is better. I would have welcomed more variety.
The dub translation, in comparison to the subs and fansubs, is generally the same but occasionally more sparse. Considering that the dialogue was, content-wise, minimalist to begin with, simplifying it wasn't really necessary.
