as in when it says AMV, it's going to be an AMV

i think the ending was left like that to make room for another series... but i havent heard anything yet

as far as i know they arnt and never were planning on making a second one. the ending was constructed because the story deviated too far from the manga. the conjecture behind the ending is

I actually heard of a second season on a german board a while ago, people were talking about when it might gets released an shit, but I didnt rly pay attention to it since I thought it wont be true anyway Oo

that the girl in the (last?) scene standing behind the screen door is nyuu who survived the fight but since she lost both horns no longer has the split personality of lucy, essentially locked as nyuu forever
or at least that seems to be the most popular belief (tho there are probably others)
