It changed because there is a filter for the website that combines you and tube for its name. Click the boochsack link in your first post to read why.

As for if this is the right section for your post, it is not. AMV Announcements is the correct place, for future reference. And please read the rules of that forum posted at the top. To sum up though, you should make an entry for your video in the .org database but you do not have to upload your video here. Uploading is entirely optional, but generally recommended. Just be aware that any u-tube links will get modified by the filter and become borked like the one you posted above.

I've placed a notice in the mod drop box about moving this thread, so be patient and it will get to the correct place eventually.

Editing wasn't half bad, though it felt like sync was out of a couple frames for the whole thing. Scene selection made sense imho, which is a plus. However, I agree with Soup on quality, it was very blocky. The footage that was upscaled to 720p from 4:3 was also noticeably blurry. Quality and resolution aren't linked, nor are quality and filesize or resolution and filesize - it all depends on the quality of your footage in input and on your encoding settings in output.
And just to make it clear, I downloaded the MOV on local and watched that, I didn't just check out the preview.
Still, it was actually a nice second video, so it gets a 3/5 from me.

I'd have to agree with them about the quality, for your second video you might not be able to tell, but as time goes on your eye for quality and spotting things like pixelation will get better. The audio felt badly encoded to me also, i have a really good pair of headphones, and i couldnt feel any of the bass from this song, it just seemed to play and took away some of the impact. But for a second video and coming from the booch I'd say it's accceptable. 3/5

I don't like the song, but I liked the video. Editing is fast but not too fast, and very clean without any annoying effects. One thing bothered me, I noticed mouths moving without any lip-sync, and other times you were lip-syncing. I would keep all moving mouths out of any future AMVs, unless its intentional lip-sync.

For a second AMV, its impressive. I probably would have enjoyed it way more if it wasn't for the song that sounds like every radio song I've ever heard, heh.

i see what your saying about the upscaling but that was something that was done in the movie if you have seen it all the flashback stuff has a weird blurry effect to it because rukia is trying to remember her past i know it kind of looks pixelated but thats just the effect that was on those particular clips.

i appreciate the feedback from everyone. it was difficult for me to find the right export from final cut to fit the 100mb upload limit. for the 720p footage that i was working with does anyone have a suggestion for a better export the h.264 that would get me better quality. i have an apple pro res export on my computer that looks amazing but that is a 1gig file so of course that is out of the question to upload
