i liked it, the quality irked me a lil bit though, looked MJPEGish or overfiltered, other than like, I loved the flow of the vid and its catchy-ness.

Hmm.... Didn't realy filter it much, just vaguedenoise and fastlinedarken, but I did tweak the brightness and colors some, perhaps I overdid that. Maybe I will mess with it some more. I think I may have screwed up the timming a little after that part that I fixed the audio cut after death the kid does that symetric pose in the begining of the video till the midpoint where he moves his fingers to the beat again. some stuff seems off by like 1 or 2 frames. hmm....

UPbeat doesn't nessisarily have to uprise, I think upbeat and dance are pretty much combined in the AWA category, and this song could be considered a dance, in a groovy way. But yea, There are videos that better represent the category, this video is more a hybrid rather than a strong single category choice.

I havn't read much of the manga yet, but I've heard the story is actually better in the manga.
The series follows the manga upto around midpoint and then breaks off its own story line, sorta like Claymore.

The first time I watched this, for whatever reason, I really, really didn't like it.

Then I watched it again and was like "what was I thinking?", and now not only is it one of my favorite vids, but I bought the song off of Itunes. x2 score multiplier. Really fun and well edited vid, nice work.

I do agree that it was a bit over saturated though.
