EDIT: I'm dissapointed =(. Song calls for much more powerful editing. Didn't really see a concept, just a bunch of dragged on edited clips. Anime also seemed too loli and not dark enough for the song. And a song cut? ;_; 2/5

Thanks for the opinion. Sorry to disappoint though.

I thought I edited powerfully enough, I used the action in the scenes to make the timing, rather than just making cuts everywhere. I edited where necessary to make the action fall into place. As for the concept, its a simple concept, introduce one character, introduce other character, they fight, its an action AMV! Thats as much concept as it needs. I don't think I let the clips drag on too much, but parts of the song do tend to drag on, giving me no other choice, which brings me to the song... There was no way I was going to make a 9 minute AMV, especially since a big chunk of this song is slow softer guitar. It wouldn't have worked, and besides anything over 6:00 is ineligible for an AMV contest. I wanted to cut it down to a reasonable length that wouldn't bore anybody who have never heard the song before. And as for the fade out/fade in edit, that was the toughest part because those two parts of the song are so drastically different from each other it was impossible to merge them together into a smoother transition. Anime didn't seem dark enough? While I agree that the characters are kinda loli (especially since I focused on two of the main female characters), it is a pretty dark Anime (just look at that moon), and the art style fits the song I think.

eh...after watching it some more, I'm kinda like 50/50 on it. I like some parts but don't like other parts I feel that the editing isn't strong enough >>;. And I guess choose a shorter song for a contest, Opeth is like worth the 9mins anyway ;D, you should remake it with the full song

It kept swing between fantastic and -meh-, it got alot better after you stopped using the first episode, but the effects really weren't needed. Still, 3-4/5 I guess/ IDK

I think I just can't agree upon the use of Opeths music in a random action video.
