Haha, I love this song one of the best Death Angel songs thus thumbs up for the song choice. However it was easy to notice that you had problems with the lack of footage especially during the solo in the middle since you slowed down there, altough I would've kicked in there even more. Well that's the problem if you work with that movie. Other than that awesome editing as always, fastpaced and awesome flow. I love this video even if it has the flaws of lacking footage and thus randomscenes and sometimes just scenes that didn't fit at all.

You need to edit more Bay Area Music.

Thanks Yeah the movie is barely 50 minutes, so working around the little footage was difficult. When I hit the solo, I did in fact kick it up some, but then I realized "oh crap, I'm not gonna make it to the end, even if I keep the current pace!" so I had to slow it down some there just to have enough for the end. But it seemed to work out though

Sexy stuff. Finally someone who edits to real music (though I should top whining and do it myself for once). The worst part of the video was pretty much the solo.. Someone would totally pick up his editing there, but it just seemed like..the slowest part. I understand there was a lack of footage, but I'd suggest doing something similar to the border thing you did in the ending there, it would look cool.
Anyway, overall, 7/10. And I'll be watching you.

I was thinking of doing something there, but I also considered that a slowdown might not be too bad a thing, and just focus on some of the gore scenes [actually, I'm pretty sure I used most of the blood scenes right there] so extra blood might take away from the on-screen blood... if that makes any sense whatsoever.

Ha.. yes I've been waiting for a good Halloween vid. I have to agree with Warheart -- I was pumped in the beginning, but then the fun footage seemed to run out. I liked the effects during the band/zombie-in-the-dance scene. It made it interesting although not much action was going on.

Why are all the Halloween amvs with Blood

Probably what Warheart said, it fits the theme of halloween quite nicely.

The good : Cool editing.

The bad : What everybody else already said, and add to that the linearity of your story.

The ugly : The credits were underwhelming. Can't believe you didn't think of using the same blood border you used in the end for each little box.

Overall though, fun watch.

...and I probably coulda made it crazier if there was more footage, so I settled for that camera movement thing... which I think produces a new feel in itself, and I might incorporate it more in other vids.

I think it was supposed to remain a mystery, and when I searched around, there were a lot of different opinions on it. Most people agree that Saya is the last <i>true</i> vampire... as for what that makes the other things... um... non-true vampires?? -------->

Saya, a vampire hunter, is sent undercover into a US military base by a clandestine American agency to seek and out and destroy the vampires that are hiding out there. And so follows lots of bloodshed and violence with Saya gruesomely dispatching the fearsome creatures left, right and centre.

This is the very basic premise of this anime release from Manga Video. The anime is startlingly good, it has to be admitted, and the audio is vibrant and powerful. Sadly, though, it's ultimately all hot air. The story doesn't really involve the viewer and it seems rather more like an excerpt from a longer film as it runs for a relatively short 46 minutes. There is no explanation as to who Saya is, or where she originates from. The only clue given is that she is the 'last original', and from this we assume that she is vampiric herself.

The story itself doesn't dig deep enough into how this situation has arisen, with vampires roaming the earth that need destroying. It's a bizarre little film indeed that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Some reviewers believe that the 'vampires' are little more than symbolic representations of the American presence in Japan. A strange view, but an interesting one nonetheless.

This is all high-velocity entertainment with very little substance, but it's an enjoyable ride even though one is left feeling a little dissatisfied at its conclusion.

Hated the song as well, but the editing made up for it. Only complaint was that it felt a little long and a bit repetitive. Definitely still good stuff overall. Nice work.
