Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

One Piece - You are a Pirate

Post by c3467y » Sun Jul 01, 2007 8:00 am

Well I am not very good at coming up with names for AMVs so its stuck with the obvious one.

Well I made this around Christmas and uploaded it to Youtube on New Years day, were to my suprise it is suprisingly popular. Therefore around April/May I finally decided to upload it to this site, and today I am announcing it so yeah I get things done slowly.

Links to watching it first are located in the AMV Profile

I hope that I can get more opnions from people, hopefully not ones that say that the song used and anime used are an overused combination.

Not exactly what I'd call an overused combination, but perhaps a bit too obvious and predictable?

The video itself was slightly amusing, though I think the song didn't allow to fully exploit the piratey goodness. It being Lazy Town and all, I don't consider their music that good. I think Toybox has a much, much better Pirate song that would fit nicely with One Piece and allows more variety, in terms of editing and lyric sync.
