Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Less is Better
Indeed. Just fades with minimal special effects.
A realtively less used Final Fanatasy then the others, with a song that hadn't been added into the database. "Sora" by Yoko Kanno, from the Escaflowne Movie soundtrack.
Simple and pleasing, indeed =)
Unfortunetly there was a problem with compressing and it has a lot of horrible snow in the video track. =( I tried so many different codecs and settings to try to get rid of it (many thanks to Tab who helped me out here) but it never did. I did manage to get there to be less snow then there was previously.
Anyhow, "Zidane's Home"

Hey, that was pretty good. Short 'n Sweet. FFIX is one of my faves.
You had some good timing in there. Good job!
But, yeah, as you have said, quality wanst too great... Maybe try using DivX instead of XviD? I found the same problem when I was making my FFIX video, had it all in huffyuv the entire way through and then I tried it into XivD and there was pixilation like you wouldnt beleve... Then DivX seemed to work perfectly fine, I dunno why but it worked.

Big Dude, I've tried every codec. XviD turned out to be the best, believe it or not. =\
However, I was playing around today and managed to get quality as good as the huffy in a 60mb .mov file.
I'll see if I can get someone to host that instead, as the quality of the mpeg at that same rate was 75mb... Hrm...
