My first video. I had lots of fun learning how to make it.

Normally the phrase "This is my first Avatar Music Video" is a phrase that is enough to send me running for the hills.

If this is your first video, it definitely doesn't look it. It's good enough that it's comparable with some AMVs made by established editors.

You have a solid grasp on basics like synchronization, pacing, and even just setting the mood. Keep up the good work, and possibly consider going into some competitions.

It's not technically my first video. I made a short joke FMA video to learn how to cut and add effects in Vegas. I uploaded Absentee Saturday night, but before Thursday morning I didn't have an ounce of software or know-how. Spent a day learning the technical side of things and two editing. I should have sat on the video a day to polish it.

Sounds like fun, but most seem to be centered around conventions and I've never attended one (though I'd like to one day)?
