Fierce Pop Starlet (Monogatari series)

Postby kebabcuts » Sun Sep 15, 2013 1:43 pm

Youtube preview.

This is my first AMV which I created while trying to learn Vegas and the general gist of AMV editing. It has very simplistic editing. I hope the amount of quickly changing clips isn't too tiresome or 'choppy'. I tried to keep the flow with the music.

I've kind of gotten blind to my own work by now, working with this relatively long, so I'd appreciate an opinion or two if anyone with a pair of fresh eyes has something to say.

To be honest I think this is pretty good editing wise. Clip variety is something you want to go for especially when editing this type of AMV. I noticed some lip flap, but nobody is perfect.

I think the flow was good and I'm glad you are learning Vegas.

Keeping your comments about clip variety in mind, I rewatched my video and I think you have a valid point there.

Also about syncing with the music, there is certainly room for improvement at certain parts. I kept changing a few times about which beat/instrument I follow with the edits, which was kind of a bad route to go with; it makes it seem inconsistent at times for the viewer. Even for me now after a week's break unless I focus really hard...

Thanks, pan_dbgt01!

Ah, I see youtube has already removed the clip... well it was encoded in bad quality anyway.
