So this is a video that just won 2nd place in the AMV Contest for Florida Supercon in Miami in 2013.

This video took a very long time and I have been planning it out for over the past year. I received critiques and assistance from many people and the whole idea for the chip skit was a joke between my close friends and I.

Please feel free to leave comments/criticisms/opinions and such.

The crowd definitely loved this one! I missed a good portion of the audio because of all the laughter, was finally able to hear it better at home.

You had some great synch going on, the beat synch was especially cool in that last segment. I dug some of the lipsynch (like Matsuda's threat at 1:50). Killer B's and Konata's weren't synched as well, but the character movement was more important there so they fit fine. The text with the red glow put me off a bit, it looked much cheaper than your choice for "The Final Outsiders." The visual quality was mixed - there were a few issues with interlacing and AR, and the quality was lower than others for some anime. But for the most part, those things weren't too distracting.
Overall, nice display of various editing styles! Any back-story completely flew over my head and I don't usually love this type of video, so I wasn't able to get into it as much as I'd have liked to. Still, despite the few issues, it was a fun watch. Nice job

Thank you, yeah the crowd reaction for this was INSANE, never in my wildest dreams did I think people would react as well as they did.

There's a good reason why Matsuda's lip synching was so much better than Konata's and Killer Bee's, that was because his was the only one where I actually took the frames and recreated that statement from scratch. In the others the characters were moving so whatever synched there was by luck.

I know the red glowing text isn't the best, that's just what I've used in all my videos for my titles and since that particular skit was a Dexter skit, I thought it would go well with that considering the context and my pseudonym.

Can you tell me where the visual differences stood out? I remember having some trouble with Cowboy Bebop and Pokemon, and tbh I barely really know how most of these filters work, I've just been experimenting.

Was there anything wrong with the Code Geass footage at the beginning? I just started ripping my DVD's for an exclusively Code Geass video and I was going to use the same settings I did for this unless I missed something. (In this video its the quick clip at the beginning with the girl with the green hair and the avalanche)

Other then that I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Oh! I haven't watched Dexter, so that explains my ignorance.

Yep, I'll give a little list of what I noticed:
- I saw some blocking in space in the scene at 0:32 when I was on my phone, but I don't notice it on my computer. What I do see, though, is that it has that distinct blurriness my footage usually gets when I use too much temporal smoothening.
- The Naruto parts with Killer Bee had some pretty noticeable frame blending.
- I thought the Pokemon scenes were nicely dealt with. A few artifacts, yes (I saw small white bits of grain at 4:49-4:52) but it looked good for such an old source. It was the part with Mew at 5:10 that looked more out of place.

I noticed some aliasing in that FMA segment from 5:06-5:07, and then as I looked closer I saw it in other scenes as well. Here's what I'm talking about, along the edges I circled:

The Code Geass footage looks fine to me, except lookie here:

The first one's a frame where the motion/shake has her up. In the second one, she moves down relative to the camera. You can see some of the green tint, from what's probably the previous frame, right above her hair. It's slight, but if's there. It might be there in the original animation, but if it's not then it's likely a deinterlacing issue you'd wanna get fixed.

I hope that helped.

Ok, how exactly would I go about fixing that?

Sorry, I usually just play around with the filters, so I'm not exactly familiar with fixing stuff like this.

It all depends on your footage and your settings. I'm by no means the resident expert in cleaning up footage here, but this section of the forums should help you lots. I suggest you check for similar issues and/or post a more detailed question there.
Good luck!
