Hey, don't even worry about that kinda stuff. Before I had my video uploaded, I showed it to a friend and his main gripe with it was that so many people had already used the song (and used it well). My response was something along the lines of "Yeah, so what?" I didn't let that bother me and neither should you!
I did go through and watch a lot of the AMVs that used this song and many were not that great, so I was pleasantly surprised when I watched yours because it's one of the better ones. I definitely agree with the previous commenter's assessment of the source match, the song works well with this anime. The video/audio quality were maybe not the greatest, but it wasn't enough to really take away from the video. I used to do a timestamp-to-timestamp breakdown of videos I'd watched and I stopped doing that....but I think I'll bring it back!
0:00 - 0:20 - Appropriate pacing and introduced the setting and main characters well.
0:21 - 0:28 - A good quick montage to interest the viewers in the rest of the characters involved.
0:29 - 0:55 - I can definitely appreciate the the lyric sync here, you followed it well without going overboard. I didn't care much for the style of action sync that you chose, though. The white flashes would've been okay if they were only used on the "crashes" and not every time a drum beat hit. It made it too busy. When you switched to jump cuts, those were better, but didn't work on the "crashes". Perhaps if you'd flipped those a bit, it would've worked better. Because you'd set up a definite sync pattern, though, the scene at 0:52 seems to stall the video's flow.
0:56 - 1:24 - The contrast between the verse and chorus here is awesome. A lot of times people don't differentiate and so they steal the chorus' thunder out from under it. Yours was appropriately intense. I did have the same issue as before with the white flashes that you used, but they were not nearly as jarring in the chorus as they were in the verse.
1:25 - 1:51 - And you brought the intensity back down a notch! I love when editors actually know to do this. The highs and lows in a video are so crucial to making it enjoyable. I like the focus on a different character that you introduced in the chorus. Again, I think the only possibly negative thing here is the white flashes (which are now...zoomed white flashes?)
1:52 - 2:20 - The way that you transitioned the "softer" scene of the butterfly passing through the eye with the "waking up" was amazing! I loved it. I was not a fan of the lip sync (at least, it looks like you were trying to sync "Welcome to the new age", if not, my bad >_> ), it just seemed out of place.
2:21- 2:33 - And back down to the "low"! I cannot stress enough how important this is and how happy it makes me to see it, haha.

The sun lyric was maybe a bit too literal, but it wasn't too bad. The remainder of the scenes were great for suspense-building especially when....
2:34 - 3:03 - ...when you bring that chorus back up so much! The finale here is really the strongest point of your entire video. The song is at its most intense and so you selected and edited the scenes to match it perfectly. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the black flashes at 2:48, they were a bit jarring. And I also felt that the very end was a little anti-climactic and seemed to come out of nowhere.
Overall, though? I liked it. Not perfect, I definitely would've liked it much better without the white flashes synced the way they were, but it wasn't enough to ruin the video or anything. I think you did a good job on the video and, again, don't worry about what video has or hasn't been made with what song. There are so many AMVs out there, it's likely that someone somewhere has already used a song, haha.
