Well, here it is. Sorry for taking so long to upload. I had to catch up on a lot of lost sleep from the convention. :) Never in a millions years did I think I'd be making another AMV trailer so soon after AWTR, but I saw the movie Shutter Island, loved it with a burning passion and had to make this.

Thanks a ton to the editors that voted for my video, especially among so many amazing videos at the con. It meant a lot to me. <3

I'll be downloading everyone else's from the contest and leaving comments as soon as I catch up on a bit more sleep. Hope you all enjoy. It was stressful but quite fun to make and I'm glad to be back after a year long break. :D

Also, if anybody for some reason needs another encode feel free to ask. I figure at this point mp4/x264 is common enough for most people to be able to play it back properly on their computer so unless somebody asks I don't think I will be converting to XviD anymore.

Nicely done. I was hoping you'd upload this quickly.

Awesome trailer, the second this started playing at AB I knew you'd set the bar really high for the entire category. I had no idea how much work this was to create until you talked about it a bit at the con panel, and now I can read more about it in the comments on the video. Sounds like you ran into a lot of challenges, but were able to work through them - huge A for effort, there!

So far this is my leading candidate for VCA Best Trailer. It's believable, it's really well edited, builds a convincing story, it's highly entertaining/compelling and looks fantastic. Someone who didn't know any better would easily be fooled into thinking this was the real thing.

That was pretty good. Especially since you used RE4

x2. Seriously, it just looks so realistic!

It was intense, had great sync, great pacing and a great mood to top it all off. Definitely one of those trailers that have you at the edge of your seat in anticipation.

Having never played the game or seen the movie, I'd believe it was a real trailer ^_~
But seriously, it's very well edited, has great mood, sync and sound bridges.
Congrats on the win ^^

I'm really glad this got editor's choice. Being in a category with some really hilarious stuff (driftroot's LFS and Borihiei's ponyo/jaws combo in particular) I was worried that the audience might overlook this extremely well edited video.

It was superbly done. Very well synced and amazing scene selection. Everything was spot on and there wasn't a moment that felt off. Had I not known about the movie or the game, you could have probably fooled me into thinking that it was a trailer for some video game for sure.

Did you rip the scenes off the PC version of RE4 for the footage?
