That was.....surprisingly good, the Freeza part was awesome. Much better than the first one imo which was just really awkward in parts to watch.

This is indeed better than the last mix. It has a different feeling to it but amvs should be different. Good job.

First of all thank you for your help during this time. The video didn't crush my hopes about a new version with Shippuden, was an interesting video. Wishing you luck my friend

It sucks that Castor Troy left, but that was a fucking awesome video he retired with!
But seriously, sad news. Can't say I don't get it though, I feel the passion-well drying up quite a bit myself. It's been a good ride, man, thanks for all the great videos!

Thanks man. It's pretty crazy looking back on my older stuff and to see how much things have advanced throughout the years.AceD wrote:That was.....surprisingly good, the Freeza part was awesome. Much better than the first one imo which was just really awkward in parts to watch.

Thanks! I tried to go for much more serious feel than the fun/lighthearted tone of the original considering Naruto Shippuden is far more serious.Enigma wrote:YO ULLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Glad you enjoyed it! I know you've been anticipating this for a while and I'm glad I didn't disappoint.TritioAFB wrote:First of all thank you for your help during this time. The video didn't crush my hopes about a new version with Shippuden, was an interesting video. Wishing you luck my friend
Yeah man, it's best that I quit while I'm ahead since my passion for amvs and anime has faded away for quite some time. I would have hated to leave abruptly with a mediocre follow up video or nothing at all. This is the mark I wanted to leave.PennyRoyalty wrote:It sucks that Castor Troy left, but that was a fucking awesome video he retired with!

Wow, awesome video. The masking and the interaction of the characters is definitely the best out of any of your crossover videos. Its clear that this has been a learning experience all the way up until the end.
Good luck with your future stuffs.

Re: Naruto Ball Z Shippuden - Heroes Come Back: My Final Vid
What...the....heck.....I don't even like Dragonball but GODDAMIT. THIS WAS JUST FUCKING AWESOME! I was sitting there going, "OH MY GOD, WHY IS THIS SO GOOD? Wait, this is Dragonball, WHY AM I EVEN WATCHING THIS WHEN I HATE DRAGONBALL?!" Thanks to some bad memories during childhood of brother trying to Kamehameha me thus developing this dislike of the show itself. D:
But seriously, the tension, the excitement, the POW-WOW action and fight scenes in shounen animes, the kickass background music, the omgwtf moment when you see the epic strong enemies the characters have to fight...seriously, it was like watching a short episode of all of that blended together into one great masterpiece.
Then the technical part. I cannot imagine how long it must have took for all those masks/rotoscoping you had to do. >__< And the lengthy process of selecting the right facial expressions at the right camera angles to pull off that natural and realistic look. I also loved your use of the dust and smoke particles when they were getting slammed onto the ground from the animes. That felt very shounen-like. And the utilization of the background scenery with the trees and the sea was just fantastic. Also the Sakura/uncloaking part = genius.
This has just revitalized my love for shounen anime. I think it's about time I went back and caught up with the newer Naruto episodes ever since I left it on hold at about episode 95 of shippuden, which was JUST enough to cover most the major battles you used in this AMV. There's always that great feeling you get when you recognize scenes used in crossovers in an AMV. And once I've gotten over my childhood trauma of DBZ, I'll probably try and give that a shot too since this was just too freaking good for me to not at least give that show a chance.
You, sir went out with a bang. And a well deserved one at that. Thank you for all the awesomeness you contributed to this hobby. And while this is the first Naruto Ball I have ever watched, I've heard your name very often before when people were discussing Naruto Ball. I think this is a legend you've left behind that won't ever really be forgotten.

And after reading your LJ entry, I can understand why you need to retire from AMVs. Best of luck with your future film projects.TEKnician wrote:
