Re: Don't Call My Name
ha, i've tried my best to separate the tube and the Org but i saw this and was like "oh shiet, dey'z fallowen mee"
idk, there was some of it that i was like "woah cool" but all in all, like, throughout the whole video there was a constant feel of choppiness.
if you had polished it off more i'm sure it would've been great! but as it stands it's a solid 2.7/5

Re: Don't Call My Name
As others said, it felt like different concepts jammed into the same video. The masking, B&W, music bars, spinning stars, and text just didn't mesh well together. The second half was very strong, if the entire video was done in a style similar to 2:25 and on then I would have loved this. As it is, I'm borderline on it and even then mostly just because I like upbeat vids. Also it really did not help that several parts the effects were almost exact repeats of what you did earlier in the video.

didn't say it was a hard concept lol. Probably more prevalent on the tube than here though -_-

Re: Don't Call My Name
Holy... that was amazing. Honestly, I was too busy trying to figure out how you did half of it to really point out any nitpicks. Not something I would download, since I'm not really a fan of these types of AMVs, but I thought it was definately well done. Especially the chaos near the end. Nothing for me to say that hasn't been said anyway.
I will disagree godix on the repeat of that effect you used during the 2nd chorus. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I see it as a way of pointing out that the video itself has a chorus along with the song.
I'll give it a 4/5. The loss in point is mainly the music choice and type of video it was. Doesn't mean it wasn't amazing though.
