Melanchthon wrote:It's kind of weird to see such dramatic low-effects editing applied to such a peppy song. There might be more slightly dark moments like the 'I can't feel my arms' line hidden in there, but I'm not really familiar enough with FMA to notice them.
Mostly subtle. As mentioned in the video info and earlier here, the idea was to work with the characters motivations so "i'm only getting started" is meant to relate to that on a more subtle level i guess. It definitely helps if you know the show.
Brakus wrote:It's no secret that I prefer the first anime to the second, but this did a fine job especially with the scene selection. I would have synched things up a little differently (since I was saying to myself, "where's the action sync on the words?" many times through the video), but I think you did a fine job.
Brotherhood is way better than the first one >.>

Thank, glad you enjoyed it.

Foreverheat wrote:This was pretty well edited, but like someone said before it felt strange listening that music with FMA. The lyrical cohesion on the actual video was okay, it's just that if you know story behind the anime it is difficult to get the mood that the music is giving out. Maybe if I didn't watch the anime I wouldn't think this, but I don't know man, just my two cents. Good work nonetheless.
Thanks but could you elaborate more about how the story the mood of the song don't fit?
