CompUSA Store Closings

If you live near one of the stores listed in this press release (PDF), you might find some good clearance prices (in-store only).

I'd be shocked if my store was on the list. I'd think I would of known about it much earlier if it was (since I work there.)

Anyways. I'm sure you'll find some good deals, but any CompUSA normally has "Manager's Specials" all the time. Basically it is a discontined product either by the manufactuer or we will no longer carry it. I got myself a Sansa e140 1Gb MP3 player that takes SD cards for only $10!

Randomly certain items drop way below cost. I worked for Best Buy and they rarely if ever lower prices even on open items below the cost the store bought it for. Maybe this is why so many stores are closing. The damn company keeps buying crap for $100 then end up selling it for $20. Good for customers, bad for CompUSA :/

In fact, this week is a big inventory clearance sale. Snatch up the good deals while they last.
