[REQ] Trigun

Postby tyromaniac » Sun Jun 11, 2006 4:21 pm

I've been having trouble trying to find a website that actually sells good trigun DVDs. Many of them seem either underpriced (usually region 0 bootlegs) and then their are those $80.00 tin boxes which I can't believe could possibly cost that much for 26 episodes. Any suggestions on what I should do? (I hope no one yells at me for asking for deals on this forum again.....I tried to put the REQ in the title which was suggested in the "About this Forum" thread.

$80 for 26 episodes? That almost sounds like a deal compared to just about anything geneon releases. A popular series usually maintains around that price too, NGE original box set is somewhere around there still.

$80 for a full series? That's a good deal. I just spent that on like 3 DVDs :?

It's possible that he's used to the day and age of thinpaks and or regular full season TV series boxsets, all of which sell for very cheap.

If youre talking about 8 DVDs all in their individual cases, you can better believe youre going to pay a good amount of money for it. Hell, $80 in that case is $10 per disc. I paid over twice that when I bought the series one DVD at a time as it was coming out. And I never got a fancy tin box.

Basically what we're saying is, that's not a bad deal.

heh...got the first dvd at Borders for $30
got the rest at best buy for $15-$25 (varied per disk...but still cheaper than suncaost  )

as mentioned before, $80 is a very good price (I think the first dvd boxset of Trigun was $110...still cheaper than buying disks individually, but I didn't have that much money at that time)
