i think it's a stupid idea.

it's the storage that i want. i do alot of stuff that needs alot of memory.

this means that i pop the disc in and poof! bingo!!

or back up's and back up's of back up's.

Oki sry, Didnt think that far when I posted... But really! You've got to agree that he has a point. And presented it in a quite funny way allso. It was just so right on spot and about a subject thats been bugging me really deep... Really... Deep...

And to contribute to the original thread:

Yeah! Ive heard. This will rock major ass if they stop with the habit of using like 1/3 of the Dvd's capasity. Trigun over 8 Dvd's? Simpsons with 4 less episodes on like 3 cd's With better extra material (directors comentary which is really the only thing that I like... exept maby behind the scenes stuff that you can se alittle anywhere). Clean opening / endigs and japanese comerchials arent really my thing... The opening and ending makes good amv material though. But really 26 Ep's over 8 discs... They can do better. They will maby even make more monney if they cram em on fewer discs. Cheaper stuff = less downloaders, Less ppl buying bootlegs, more ppl feeling that its worth buying. As it is now I only buy the animes I REALLY REALLY loved.
Oops... Slipped of topic again but it will do. I hope.

you know that dream of watching your divx videos on your tv? well with my modified xbox i can just back up .. what... all 26 episodes of a series onto ONE DVD and watch them on my *surprise* HDTV! gotta love compression. on hdtv, true dvd quality isn't that hott but compressed videos using slews of codecs are! have you ever downloaded hdtv rips of ur fav TV shows? so worth it.

can't wait till hd-dvd and blu-ray burners are the standard, then i can fit like 300 episodes on ONE DISC! wow. if only my fiber optic internet connection didn't download faster than it would take to go to the store or order online.
