Image of Volume 1 with box. Price: $44.95

I don't know if thats actually going to be the prices. Usually Best Buy has them cheaper than that. But just have to wait and see =)

oh I can't wait! AMG is my favorite anime of all time, and it was such a shame to have it only be an OVA series. I've read all the manga, and I hope the follow a similar storyline. if I find any of these DVD's for less then $25 I am grabbing them!

I do wish somebody would rerelease the OVA DVDs though. They look like complete ass. A remaster is definitely in order.

And JenCM, those prices are the MSRP. You're likely to rarely see DVDs priced at the full MSRP, unless youre shopping at say, Suncoast. Generally places like Best Buy and most online retailers price below MSRP.

Oh about the Ah! My Goddess OVA looking like crap, according to this poster in AnimeOnDVD, AnimEigo got rights to release the remastered versions of the series.

heh, I have the full OVA series, plus the movie and the first DVD of the mini-goddess series... the quality of the OVA isn't that terribly bad, but a remaster would be nice...

Asrrin, look at any AMV that mixes footage from the movie and the OVA, and tell me the OVA doesn't look like shit. :P Plus it was simply encoded improperly. It's hard to deinterlace well.

You could pre-order both at Amazon.com and you'll save 30%. So that's 31.47 for the Ah My Goddess Vol 1 with box, and 20.99 for Ah My Goddess Vol 1 with out the box.

I feel compelled to point out that:

You could pre-order both at www.deepdiscountdvd.com and you'll save 40% on each one. That's $26.96 for the OMG! Vol. 1 with box, and $17.98 for OMG! Vol. 1 without the box.

Oh yeah, and FREE SHIPPING.

I need to start buying there. Thanks for the heads up. I was comparing prices, you could still find some stuff for a better deal at amazon, but for the most part things like new releases seem to be a far greater deal at deepdiscountdvd.

I know.......... Suncoast has ridiculus prices on anime dvds I've been there a million times. So thats why I stopped buying dvds from there. I would only buy stuff there once in awhile when I can't find a certian dvd I'm looking for. Yes I know I can find them cheaper at Best Buy thats where I buy them at now and I know some websites have them lower as
well.

OO thats kewl that they are remastering the ova dvds. I'll buy them.

Or, if you can wait an addional two months or so after it's released, www.deepdiscountdvd.com will have their winter sale, where you can get an additional 20% off- which means $21.57 for the OMG! Vol. 1 with box, and $14.38 for OMG! Vol. 1 without the box ^_^

Cool, I loved AMG and I heard about this series a while ago so I've been waiting for it.

Now I just need a region 4 release here in Australia. Damn regions.
