The Right Stuf is a very reputable site. They've been selling anime-related stuff for almost 10 years, and they don't deal in any bootleg or pirated goods. I've done several orders through them; never had a problem. I would do more business with them, but their normal DVD prices are higher than other e-tailers (like DVDPlanet.com).

These Blue Seed DVDs are legit. (A.D. Vision has the stateside license.) I have only seen the first 8 ep's and they're pretty good. Not the greatest anime I've ever seen, but it probably gets better further into the series. Kind of like Evangelion, except towards fantasy rather than scifi. Not as psychological as Eva, either. High production values, if I remember right (it's been a few years). Some light fan service.

Anyway, for about $1.10 per episode, it's hard to say you're wasting your money by buying it.

Blue seed (at least the first 2/3 or so of it that I've seen) is pretty good. It's a semi-apocolyptical series that (as is typical) revolves heavily around one or two people who will ultimately decide what happens in the end. A good amount of both fighting, character development, and cute animals on panties (plus the ever amusing Omake Theater. ^o^) I've not seen the last disc set, but it is at least in my opinion worth the watch. And you can't beat that price. I just wish I could afford it at the moment :/

$30. Damn. I got my DVD box set at a local Suncoast for $60. I liked Blue Seed. I really don't want to say anything that might spoil it though.

OK, the special this week is Getter Robo...entire series, 4 DVDs, price cut from $120 to $30.

I have not seen this anime, so someone else will have to give an opinion.

And the Bandai special pricing is still good for another week.

Getter Robo is ok. It tries to be deep and have a plot, but it's so convoluted that it just screws with everything that's going on. I got the box set of it for 50 and I think that was a decent deal.

For $30? I'd say go for it.
Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.
And lighten up.
