hi. im sorry if thios goes against the rules, ( my friend actually gave this to me as a birthday present) but i was wondering- what exactly should i use to make a video?

I don't see how you'd be breaking any rules by asking this question - at best you should have posted it in 'Software Help.' But really, look through the threads there, you'll find various answers. And the 'guides' link on the member main page tell you almost anything you'd need to know to make an amv - read through those and you'll be set.
