I aint given up no money unless their's reimburstment involved. This is a capitalistic society we live in... I live in :/

No but seriously that's whack. Why would you be willing to pay for shit if you still can't sell or market it? Priorities
If you do not think so... you will DIE

Maybe instead of a tax you should be required to post a bumper at either the end or begining of your amv.

Citing that you got your material from x album and x song and x anime and give a detailed citing of how you got all that material with a final message at the end.. something like this.

"I _____ did not create nor wish to sell or profit off the music and video used in this amv in any way shape or form. This amv has been a creative expression and exists strictly as such.
If you enjoyed any part of this amv i strongly recommend you purchase The source song and anime.

Anime:________
Studio:________
Song:_________
Album:_______

so ya you would kinda have a super detailed disclaimer or things and encourage people to buy the music and video from the amv you made.. that way it really shows that its a benifit to the companies trying to make money..
Close calls are always the most exciting. Coming close is always the most dissapointing.

On a side note anyone who would stop us from doing this is pretty stupid.

I cannot count how many albums i have purchased STRICTLY because they have 1 song i thought would be great for an amv..

Or how many anime boxsets i have purchased JUST because i saw a music video and decided to give the anime a try....

For example... i first saw one piece on cartoon network and almost vomited.... i then saw the "sail on" music video (i think that is what it was called) and BLAM i was instantly hooked...

so the amv maker that made the sail on video was FAR better at selling the anime of one piece.. than a fuggin tv network that airs the lameass english dub...

so ya..

A minimal issue is still an issue. Personally, I'd be much happier if money went to the people who wrote the music I care enough about to make AMVs with.
