Please help to identify

Postby ndmitry » Mon Dec 07, 2009 8:25 am

Hi to all of you!

Please, help me to identify a soundclip.

The amount of information about it is extremely small.
It was popular in 1990-s.
The genre is some techno. There are no words.
The clip is like a japan cartoon - with some technical things (robots or transformers?)
The main music theme is played with the sound like a siren (i may be misunderstood because of my bad english).

I first thought it was Daft Punk, but i searched through their clips and found nothing.

Thank you in advance.

Any information given will be highly appreciated.

may be you know any musical bands who produced such soundclips?

try to search it on YouTube. Maybe we can help you if we see it.

I have spent a lot of time seraching it on youtube, but the only thing which was close enough and looked like it - Daft Punk.
May be there is a similar band?

There are thousands of bands that are techno, this is what you seem not to understand. You don't really narrow it down for us much at all.

It was year 1996. The clip is a cartoon with some robots or transformers. The main sound theme is played with the sound much like siren.

That is all I have got. I really would like to narrow the search, but i can't, unfortunately.

It was 5 years after the Soviet Union crashed, I did not have any computer or portable sound recorder. It was good to have a TV.

originally I thought you said it sounded like robots or transformers and I was like "O_O", but that actually does narrow it a little bit, Unfortunately I can be of no help to you.

If i understand correctly, it was a music video that used J-animation.
Perhaps it's one of the ones on this list.

For a moment I thought of the Shimauta video clip featured by Casero. But there are words, so it isn't.

Oh, thank you all.

I will make new search requests in google including words J-animation.

And will work out that list you posted a link to.

And I hope we will do it:)
Thanks!

MSTRKRFT - Work on You

Really close enough! A little different style of the animation, but it is the most close sample that I have seen! Thank you! I will keep on searching.
