I dunno what you mongrels are all yapping about. This video delivered! B&W Sillhuetes ftw.
Check out miku miku dance, an animation program. you can appearently make a girl go yogurting in like 5 minutes in that program. Plus with the right presets, maybe 3 minutes.
this is truly mad :amv:

So bad, in fact, it's a main staple of professional editing along with the straight cut. Apparently George Lucas had the right idea for using wipes as the transition for nearly - or every - scene change in Star Wars.

I really enjoy this. It shows that even without color you can still create a work of art that is still visually stimulating. If colored CG was added instead of the black and white mix, to me at least it would lose its impact and some of the seamless transitioning would be lost because with color comes more detail and that creates jarring differences.

Just my thoughts.

for me it was about the flawlessly smooth transitioning rather than the actual 3D design

Also the whole ying-yang thing would kinda lose sense.

is what i've been working on for a while before that came out, though i'm actually dealing with making anime sill it's interesting to see that i'm not the only one who thought of using silhouettes.
This has no relevence to the discussion above it
