RDS is an honorary society for accredited amv editors.

You don't need a studio and also don't join any unless you have to. RDS is not acreddited because there's no degree in AMVs. Come to people for help but don't just think that because someone takes you under their wing that you'll get any better. Its about putting the work in, plain and simple. You do a vid look over it think about how you could improv then try to do that. If not your just doing what everyone else is doing. THere's plenty of people who can edit the only thing that'll make a difference is how you edit. If you edit like someone else your just doing their editing for them.

There's also alot of egos in this community and people that say they're the best, kick their ass.

And in advance since there's always some reply. I don't care about what studio you belong to. I don't care about what you think. But you asked for advice and this is the best i can think of.

Good luck.
