well lets be fair, your most recent video rocks. Yes, admit it, it does.

I'm a lot better in terms of familiarity with photoshop and the fact that I can synch just about anything up now. Special effects are still iffy for me.. but in comparison to my original work, I am way better. (Except for some reasdon my first video still amazes me.. Dunno why.. it's just a really good video! :P )

As for me, I have no idea how good I actually am because the only feedback I get is from people I know and their opinions (as blunt and careless as they may be.) are at least biased in some way. So all I have to go with is how I like my vids, and I think my first is better than the 3 or 4 that came after it! but these last 2 are looking real good. :) how do you think you've been doing?

alot, my first vid was just straight scenes cut to anime (still my fave but that's just cuz the idea sticks), subbed anime... and I didn't know the wonders of Huffy or all keyframes ;-p but I'm remaking it so.

My first video was where it's at. That Linkinball Z shit was the pinnicle of my career :?

My first video was: Linkin Park - One step closer to DBZ. And used nothing but Planetnanek.com downloaded (Quicktime of all thing) clips edited one frame at a time.

Now (one of several current projects): Red Nex - Cotton Eye Joe to Goldenboy. Ok, so not much has changed.

I started editing AMVs.....

Now I direct, write, and produce short films and hope to move on to feature films in the future.

I've also met a ton of uber badass people along the way.

AMVs are like Ubernostrum....

Funny how that works...I've spent way too much time doing music videos, but I have also done lots of other things such as a corporate video, a few documentaries, mutimedia presentations and even an official paid anime project!

It should say Best Man Grip!

I'm sure AMVs have impacted people's lives one way or another. Hell I don't know if I would be where I am today without the uber inspiration of Hsien Lee and William Milberry!

I definitly think that I am much better then when I first started. Not only am I better in syncing and such but I am more familar with effects and such. My first video was The remake I did of MJ's Smashing Pumpkins vid and my greatest is Smash Bitches, now that is range now that I look back.

Oh my. Can we be friends? Seriously, if you become a big time director, you will be my role model. That's what I want to do, someday, but I have no connections.

I can't really say if I've improved over time or not. I know I've learned how to do a whole heck of a lot more and the pure technical aspects of my work has definitely improved (mainly through osmosis of all the people here who know insane amounts about video), but I think it would interesting to show people "Big Gun" and then "Dark Metropolis" and see which (ignoring picture quality) they thought was better.
