I'm currently using 3 in my new video, but the thing is, on the third track, I have two images and that's it. I usually use two. I can't wait until I get into Cinelerra...:P

I like how everyone's interacting here...

I made this to see everyone's skeleton... ^_^ [pulls out xray specs]

Even the one track videos can be quite nice. [I'd put up my To Love, To Love Not timeline, but can't seem to find it!]
uses only 1 track, all cuts to the beat ^_^

It's not the complexity, it's the final product...

Btw, I LOVE looking at the other program timelines you people are using. It's like, "hey! wtf is that!" ^_^

Please! MORE PEOPLE RESPOND! WITH PREMIERE OR ANYTHING ELSE!! ^_^

I'm sure many people spend countless days and nights staring at that empty timeline :?

I might as well post my own timelines...

Image

This is from Warning. There's the music layer, the video layer, and a layer for my titles. That's it.

This is from my completed-but-not-yet-listed project, Fine Again. A bit more complex, since I used the A/B layout for this one. Video 1A is the main track, Video 1B is the video I used for crossfades, transitions in the middle, and of course, Video 2 is titles.

I'd post the timeline from Dark Metropolis, but I don't have a place to put it (baka Geocities). I don't think I've ever used more than about 3 video tracks (counting the A and B tracks as one, it woudl be 4 if you count them as separate). I like to keep it to two if possible.

Now, my After Effects timelines from Dark Metropolis, those were an entirely different story... those were a jungle.

This is cool, I see this every time I re-install premiere, and Ive been iching to try it out, but to afraid that it will be really strange. So how is that whole one layer transition thing thne?

Quite frankly, I prefer A/B for transitions. The only transitions I used for this vid was fade in and fade out at the end, so that's why I only did one-layer.
