My new project (should be out in about a week). The names of the song have been changed to protect the innocent ;)

I don't think I could ever do something that elaborate. My digital effects would be limited to transparency/opacity and motion settings. Maybe I'd use Paint for some Green-Screening, but that's it. To be honest, that's all you need, although I'd really like to know how Koop did his split-screening and "window" effects. Speaking of which, Koop, I updated my review of your Rei video to address your response.

Actualy, none of those layers you see on mine are digital effects (with the exception of a random invert or two thrown in and a few motion settings here and there). Ive found opacity settings and layers are pretty much 90% of what I need (just my two cents) ^_^

It's midnight in this particular timezone, and I have a cold, so I really couldn't make much sense of what you said in your update. Something about different planes of purity and personal attacks on vision. I do remember that some of my questions/issues weren't answered. Other than that, I think we should sort out our opinions in the forums and come up with something final to say to each other instead of creating hugeass updates every few hours.

I must get sleep now.

I just meant in general, not in response to your one project.

Yet another editing program. I don't know if a timeline gets any simpler than this. :?
The anime should be obvious. The song title is on my profile page.

Omni has a good excuse for his timeline looking as cluttered as that, most of his videos are dance vids and have quite a lot of digital effects in it. The rest of you... I don't know. :D

I've only done one video with digital effects, I expanded all the way to 5 rows, but when that got too tedious, I shrank it all the way back down to 2, through a lot of cutting, repasting, (Making about a dozen mis-pastes along the way) and either extending or shortening the speed of the anime.

The solution to this problem is to stop using digital effects except for fades and make a nice not too fast paced mostly dramatic AMV with Windows Movie Maker. ;D
