Uh in the good old days people didn't seizure their videos :/ so I donno what you are talking about like it's a "new trend" to not try to bash the viewer over the head with every drum beat. But then again I've been watching videos since late 1999-2000 :/

^That is exactly what I'm talking about. More and More people start denying and underappreciating a well synched Video and it turns out lots of Videos have barely any synching at all and just look plain boring.

On the Other hand theres the kind of people who start spamming visual effect crap, which is even worse imho.

a Video doesn't have to synch every tiny beat, but I'd like to have at least some appropiate synching in a video, otherwise I could just turn on music and throw a dvd in my player and watch em together.

but as I said, that is not a "new trend" you are acting like that is a "new mentality" to do slower editing or something. The "new trend" that comes with seizure videos is the seizure videos themselves... (I've only really seen them since like 2003-2004)

Some people find flashing random crap on drumbeats boring because if they wanted that they could just watch a wmp visualization in front of a strobe light...

Cutsync isn't the end all be all of syncing, internal sync gives more of an emotional response for me because I can actually SEE wtf is going on in this video and not just a bunch of flashes of crap that barely registers.

The non-seizure video has been around a lot longer than the seizure video, so your mentality of liking the flashing of crap is the "new trend" in comparison.

I am not talking about seizure-Videos, I am talking about beat-synched Videos in general.

More the Opposite.

! I highly disagree. I would welcome a trend that might goes back to more simpel stuff.

Well uhm... I don´t want to say that videos should completly throw away any kind of sync, I´m saying that "I sync every piece of shit with innermotion, ficker or crossfades" gets so god damn boring and unoriginal.

However you seam to agree somehow. I´m just for even less flicker, crossfade -sync like Spukhafte Fernwirkung or Magic Pad.

Less is often more.

I actually have, and the reason she didn't want to distro on the org is because she didn't want anyone to "steal her clips".....

Yes. Because hosatchel completely prevents the user from downloading the video.
