While I don't quite dispute this statement, I would like to point out that I prefer the opinion of these notebooks over those that claim that "wide ruled." I don't enjoy being wide, and I have tried to alter my diet to address that. Notebooks can be cruel ;_;

Not a timeline, but i 3D animation im doing in blender 2.5
im remaking a F.E.A.R level [well i room in that level]

So far it has taken me about 3 days. once the texturing is done and lighting, i can start doing the animation.
It will be in a FPS pov.

A cool intro, some twitching, some filted audio and some audio from the game and you will have breakfast. XD

Those are called markers, used for noting some part of the song/video.

Just press M at any moment you want to leave one there (iirc)

Yah, I just use mine as kind of mental notes. I sometimes leaves notes on them, but usually I just leave them at parts that I deem to be important synch points or whatever. My thought process is retarded and to try and explain it would be a futile effort.

ohh i see thank you for the info! they seem useful to me for parts i didnt correctly finish yet. since i tend to give up randomly when the effect doesnt turn out to be good at all (after working like 2 hrs on it; ;) but i guess im not an exception to that ^^;..
