Nothing beats the fade. Nothing.

I gotta have to quote this for truth.

They're not simple; they just knew what they where doing. :wink:

Not that I'm saying I know what I'm doing, but I've (almost) never used anything more than "cross dissolve" from Premiere when doing a fade so I dunno. I think a well-timed cross dissolve (i.e. the right length, the right area to start/end, etc.) can be quite powerful.

My timeline looks relatively simple at first glance...

Image

...but when a timeline is composed various other projects...

Image

...which might have even more projects within those...

Image

...then the actual full timeline turns out to be a lot more complicated than it appears.

Quite honestly, my computer is almost at it's limit. To give you an example, simply cutting a clip = 3~4 minutes of waiting. -_-

Cap1 and Cap2 for one of my mep projects... O.o or at least how much I've done for it. Its a lot of experimenting for me.

I had to zoom out a lot to get everything to fit on the screen, so a lot of the cuts and things aren't visible or show up as a blank box. Here is the timeline for Ouran High School Never Ends:

@sayde

Frankly, I don't ferel sorry for you, if you're to stupid to have a new project for each of your videos, then you deserve to wait.

I think he meant to say "sequence" instead of "project"... and the timeline of an amv often doesn't mean anything, it's the result that counts. :)
