I've been contemplating the idea myself, and I've rummaged through some mash up mixes wherever I could find them, however for the most part, though many of the songs were noteworthy or are familiar enough for a lot of people, I can't say that I've found a mix that really encompassed the full repertoire that the Animix tracks had.

Part of me is hoping that a second rendition of the project doesn't come into fruition though because I think we live in a world full of sequels, and quite frankly I haven't been all that impressed.

About Animix 2, I definitely don't have the strength to manage such a huge project anymore, and I don't do sequels.
But there is no patent on the name, and I don't own the concept so anyone can feel free to do it

If an Animix 2 is ever made, here is what I would NOT like to see disappear from the original concept :
- Short tracks in order to have as many participants as possible
- Newbies welcome (as long as they respect the encoding requirements)
- prevent the same anime from appearing more than twice

At some point we were thinking with JCD about having animix 2 organized as a contest : anyone can pick any track, but if a track is picked by more than one person, then the "judges" or "project managers" decide which one will end up in the final video. The idea never got further, though...

At that point, the thought of me doing an Animix 2 like this never got out of my head. I still want to make it happen sometime. Because of that, if anyone plans to do a sequel or has ideas for it, it'd be nice to inform me in some way and prehaps include me in the organisation :]

I can't believe it's been that long! Now I feel really old XD. The third part was definetly my favorite. Best mix of songs and video editing, and it had a great flow to it.
