Just to clarify: These aren't supposed to be rules for how amv-makers have to behave. These are "rules" describing how things are on the internet. Similar joke, different angle.

lol internet elitism. Yeesh, it was obviously a mistake to mention that the discussion that got me thinking took place on 4chan. A lighthearted attempt to talk about annoyingly prevalent trends regarding amvs isn't going to take off if the reader can't get past the second word.
