how do you get exact timnig with the drum beats and that :?:

I don't have the link handy on me, but there's a section called "Guides" on this website. It's called" AbsoluteDestiny & Ermac's...." and I forgot the rest of the title. Just look for those names =P

anyway, AD explains some of the easy ways to timing, but it wont be easy and requires a lot of patience.

I just re-read AD's timing tips: good stuff, but you've probably read it already :roll: . What it seems to be missing - unless I failed to see it - is to note that the video has to be placed ahead of the audio point by one or more frametimes. This sounds like what you're asking about. I go for two frames by default when I'm coding at 30 fps, but only when there is a hard edge on the beat. When the change is slower, a longer interval sometimes sounds better. In the end, what you see and hear is all that counts.

If you're using Premiere, you have my sympathy. Premiere's waveforms are pathetic, especially compared to any of Sonic Foundry's products.

listen to the song fame by frame and mark the beat ^_^
